The Porsche 911 Carrera T was officially launched

Porsche introduced the new 911 Carrera T model, positioned between the 911 Carrera and the 911 Carrera S.

With the Sport Chrono package and PASM sports suspension as standard, the 911 Carrera T can accelerate from zero to 100 km in 4.5 seconds with its twin-turbo engine with a power of 385 PS and a torque of 450 Nm.

The model, which has a standard 7-speed gearbox, can also come with an optional 8-speed PDK transmission.

STANDARD EQUIPMENT WITH PASM SPORT SUSPENSION AND SPORT CHRNO PACKAGE

The Carrera S’s standard manual transmission uses Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with a mechanical rear lock. The Sport Chrono package and PASM sport suspension (-10 mm) are offered as standard on the 911 Carrera T. The only car that these features are offered with the 385 PS engine, the Carrera T. The 911 Carrera S offers the same features as an option. On request, the Carrera T can also be ordered with the optional rear axle steering that is normally found on the Carrera S and above.

The 911 Carrera T also has a GT sports steering wheel, sports exhaust system and Sports Seats Plus (four-way, electric) as standard. Weighing just 1,470 kg, the manual transmission 911 Carrera T is the lightest of the 911 series with an entry-level engine and 35 kg lighter than the 911 Carrera with the standard eight-speed PDK.

With the optional Carrera T Interior Package, the seat belts, seat strips, seams, 911 logo on the headrests and Slate Gray or Lizard Green detailing on the floor mats can be seen. The package also comes with a GT steering wheel and four-way adjustable Sport Plus seats.

The 911 Carrera T features optional Adaptive Sports seats (18-way, electric) as well as full and lightweight racing seats with Race Tex seat centers. The Carrera T interior package is optionally available with an extended leather interior.

The maximum speed of the model is 291 km / h on the track.

The new 911 Carrera T is available in four metallic colors: Deep Black, Gentian Blue, Ice Gray and GT Silver, as well as four colors: Black, White, Red and Racing Yellow. Special colors are also available in Chalk, Ruby Star Neo, Carmine Red, Shark Blue and Python Green. Buyers of the 911 Carrera T will also have the option of using the Paint by Sample program, which offers the possibility of painting more than 110 shades.

CONCEPT OF VISITATION

The “T” in the Porsche 911 Carrera T model name stands for “Touring” and began with the approval of the 911 T as a touring car in 1968.

This first 911 T remained on the market until 1973, and in 2017 Porsche revived the original 911 line with the 911 Carrera T from the 991 model line. This sports installation concept has been successfully used for the 718 Cayman T, 718 Boxster T and Macan T along with other series of models.

The 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera T will go on sale in the summer of next year with a starting price of $118,000.
