The first 600 have arrived in Turin. The car is well hidden, but one can see that it is a model and Especially close to that of the 500x (the model will be produced until 2024 and then replaced by the 600 and the C-crossover segment), despite the fact that it is a car with smaller dimensions and the name will not be 500x but 600. , complete with the 600 logo on the front. The 600 also has several details taken from the new 500, such as the taillights. The dashboard has a layout reminiscent of the one seen on the new Jeep Avenger. However, it is a cross of about 4 meters and a height of 1.50m.
There are currently no photos of the model being tested, but from the indications that have been given to me by those who have seen it, I can give you these indications.
Hunt open at 600 for the first spy photos, then. The model starting road tests is the 156 HP electric version. Often tests are done with Jeep Avenger, example that comes from. A new 136 HP 1.2 smooth hybrid will also arrive later. No other engines are planned. The internal combustion engine is Puretech and the base is CMP as for Jeep Avenger.
600 will also be released in Poland, e it has to will be launched in the first quarter of 2023 (at least in the picture) and then go on sale in autumn, after the presentation of which it has to will be held in September 2023.
An Abarth version is also expected in 2024. The 600e Abarth will have a 235/240hp electric motor, the same engine we will see in the future Alfa Romeo B-UV Quadrifoglio arriving in 2024.
Fiat has officially announced that 2023 will be a year of growth and innovation for the Italian brand, with electricity as a key player. In the spring, the Abarth 500 BEV will show that electric technology does not conflict with performance or sportiness. For the Autumn-Winter season, Fiat plans to launch new models in a very different segment but with electricity as a standard feature. One of these will definitely be the 600, the second either the Topolino or the new Panda.
The Fiat 600 will have a new generation electric system that combines a new electric motor and a new battery. Thanks to the high power and torque, and the special tuning of the electric propulsion unit, the new 600 will provide unparalleled driving pleasure.
The second-generation 400-Volt powertrain is the first to be launched by Emotors, a joint venture between Stellantis and Nidec Leroy-Somer Holding. It delivers 115 kW, corresponding to 156 horsepower, and 260 Nm of peak torque.
The new 54 kWh battery, also developed by Stellantis, offers high energy density and an excellent ratio of conventional energy to usable energy. In particular, the battery pack is made up of 17 modules and 102 cells using the NMC 811 lithium-ion model and provides 400 kilometers of autonomy in the WLTP cycle, which becomes 550 kilometers in the urban cycle.
The battery, tested for more than 2 million kilometers, is very compact and intrusive and can be found under the front and rear seats and in the central tunnel.
To restore the new 600, a 100 kW direct current Mode 4 cable will be used to connect to the rapid action of the public recharge, three minutes of recharge is enough to travel 30 kilometers; or 24 minutes to charge the battery from 20 to 80% charge.
Given that European users average 30 kilometers per day, it is likely that the car could be driven for several days before needing to be recharged. At the same time, with the cable 11 kW Mode 3 to change the current connected to the Wallbox or public charging station, it will be possible to “fill” (from 0% to 100%) in 5.5 hours.
