The new BMW X5 and X6 have gone on sale in Brazil three months after their global launch with new style, technology and Unprecedented plug-in hybrid power. Produced in the US, each SUV comes in two versions. The X5 can be purchased in packs X Line (BRL 709,950) It is M Sport (BRL 759,950). The X6 is available in versions M Sport (BRL 812,950) It is M Competitions (BRL 1,174,950).

These models show the updated look of BMW’s new SUVs, such as arrow-shaped LED accents, chrome accents and a sporty looking bumper. The illuminated grille becomes a standard feature on both versions of the X5 and in the M Sport version of X6.

Inside, both SUVs now offer a new 14.9in multimedia center, with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity. There is another 12.3-inch screen for the instrument cluster. The interface is similar to BMW iX electricity.

Among the new features, the SUVs now include the BMW Digital Key system, where the driver’s mobile phone can be used as a key to unlock or start the car. And you don’t even have to take it out of your pocket, because according to BMW, SUVs recognize the mobile phone signal automatically.

The main change of the two is technical. Starting with the X5, a 313 hp six-cylinder engine works in tandem with a 197 hp electric unit. Together, fossils grow 489 hp It is 70 kgfm torque (corresponding to an increase of 10 kgfm compared to the old X5).

The gearbox is an eight-speed automatic and uses an initial gear system that ensures torque at low revs. According to BMW, the X5 can accelerate from zero to 100 km / h inside 4.8 seconds.

The X5’s battery pack has 25.7 kWh and provides autonomy of 110 km only in electric mode.

New X6 M Game it went through an update to be more sustainable and also more powerful. The six-cylinder engine now delivers 381 hp of strength and 52 kgfm torque (47 hp more compared to the old model). The M Racing Edition, on the other hand, boasts the 4.4 V8 biturbo engine it can deliver 625 hp of strength and 75 kgfm of torque, providing acceleration from zero to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

As driver assistance, SUVs offer assistants such as cruise control, traffic assistant, lane keeping assistant and emergency braking system.

The first units of the new X5 and X6 have already been shipped to Brazil and will be distributed in stores from June.
