The iconic Maserati GranTurismo model is in Turkey with its new generation

ISTANBUL (AA) – The famous model of the Italian luxury car manufacturer Maserati, GranTurismo, has started to be sold in Turkey with its new generation.

Maserati’s GranTurismo model, offered for sale in Turkey through Tofaş’s FerMas, was introduced at a press conference.

According to the information presented at the conference, the Maserati GranTurismo, which has been completely updated in terms of technology and design, is offered for sale in Turkey with the Modena and Trofeo versions. GranTurismo Modena can be purchased at a price starting from 14 million 330 thousand TL and GranTurismo Trofeo from 17 million 819 thousand TL.

A special “PrimaSerie 75th Anniversary Launch” special edition for the GranTurismo’s 75th anniversary will be available to order.

– “We will bring the electric GranTurismo Folgore in the last quarter”

FerMas Company Manager Özgür Süslü, in his speech at the meeting, said that Maserati has been very successful in Turkey recently.

Süslü said, “We have further strengthened our market presence with the Ghibli Hybrid, which we started selling in 2020, the MC20 which we introduced in 2021, and the Levante Hybrid, which has attracted a lot of people since its launch. We are happy with the return of the GranTurismo. We have opened the Modena and Trofeo versions of the GranTurismo with a V6 engine to order and we will be bringing the first products in the coming days. We will bring the GranTurismo Folgore, which will be Maserati’s first 100% electric car, to the roads of Turkey in the last quarter of the year, he said.

Özgür Süslü also mentioned that Maserati, which has shown rapid growth in the luxury market, is working to meet demand, and emphasized that the brand will increase its services and sales centers in 2023.

– 3 different versions

On the other hand, according to the information provided at the meeting, the new GranTurismo “Italian 100”, developed in the Maserati Design Laboratory and produced in the Mirafiori Factory in Turin, has three different versions, Modena, Trofeo and Folgore.

The GranTurismo, considered to be one of the most beautiful groups in the history of world cars, took its place in automotive history as Maserati’s first 100 percent electric car.

The Modena and Trofeo versions of the new GranTurismo are equipped with the V6 Nettuno engine. The 3.0-liter engine at the heart of the GranTurismo Modena produces 490 horsepower, while the performance-oriented Trofeo version of the same engine increases that to 550 horsepower.

The 3.0 liter turbo engine in these versions uses a wet crankcase lubrication system and also has cylinder deactivation technology. In terms of transmission, there is an 8-speed automatic transmission signed by ZF.
