The largest Portuguese wine event in Brazil celebrates its 10th anniversary with the participation of more than 80 producers from different Portuguese wine regions. The 2023 edition will bring famous names among critics, professionals and individuals from the world of wine and will offer hundreds of labels for tasting and purchase.

Once again, the conference will be held in Rio and São Paulo. In Rio, it takes place from June 9 to 11, at the Jockey Club; and in São Paulo, from June 15 to 17, in JK Iguatemi. In the website wines from portugal2023 You can check the full schedule and buy tickets.

“For this unique year, we have prepared an experiential program that will take the participants on a journey through the taste of Portuguese wine. We will have record producers and also labels: more than 790. It is a year to celebrate this partnership, which directly affected the increase of Portuguese wine exports to Brazil”, highlights Leonardo André, Director of Special Projects at Editora Globo.

In the tasting room, with two-hour sessions, it will be possible to discover and taste hundreds of labels. Guided tastings, with one-hour sessions, are usually crowded. Some focus on specific regions or unique wines, and all are directed by famous names such as sommelière Cecília Aldaz, wine master Dirceu Vianna Júnior and critics Jorge Lucki, Manuel Carvalho and Luís Lopes.

In the living area, with free access, as well as the wine shop, talks will take place between producers and individuals. Talk sessions are a relaxed way to get to know and learn more about Portuguese wines.

The 10th edition of Vinhos de Portugal is organized by the newspapers O Globo, Público and Valor Econômico, in collaboration with ViniPortugal, with the participation of the Douro and Porto Wine Institute, with the support of the Wine Commissions of Alentejo, Lisbon, Dão, Tejo. . Out of Paper.
