Before proceeding with the “juice” of the case, let’s see what the word change, which is heard more and more, means. So flaunting is a pretentious display of wealth, or any aspect at a higher level for the purpose of showing and feeling superior to the environment.
So with the above definition in mind, changing in the Principality of Monaco, which is the Mecca of wealth, is no small matter.
Every year, the Monaco Grand Prix attracts a large number of high-profile celebrities, millionaires and billionaires. In fact, it has become one of the events that people visit to show off their wealth.
For last weekend’s race, the harbor was filled with dozens of large private yachts. Among these, there was one that attracted car enthusiasts like a magnet. The particular boat belonged to the company Altr, which conducts auctions and enables those with the right wallet to buy small “pieces” of collectibles and rare and very expensive cars. In short, the company is auctioning a car that has eg “break” 500 pieces so that 500 people can participate.
Two weeks ago, the aforementioned company partnered with Italian luxury car dealership Car & Car and loaded a red Ferrari F40 on the front of the boat using a crane.
A million dollar car was brought onto the deck of a million dollar yacht in front of a row of millionaires. Maybe that should be the new definition of flexibility.
For the sake of history, let’s mention that one of the biggest yachts in the port, Octopus, with a length of 126m. it costs 2.2 million euros in monthly rent.
