Sorento HEV has not yet been priced, KIA hopes to get incentives

Jakarta, IDN Times – PT Kreta Indo Artha’s Head of Marketing and Development, Ario Soerjo, some time ago gave an update on the Kia Sorento HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) which was shown at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2022. According to him , currently the Sorento HEV is still in the price negotiation stage.

“Sorento Hybrid is still negotiating the price, because while the price is not yet competitive, so we have more confidence in the Kia EV6,” he said when he met with IDN Times in Jakarta.

Ario said that his party hopes that there will be an incentive for hybrid vehicles so that they can adjust the price of the Sorento HEV to be more competitive. Fyi, at GIAS 2022, Kia said the Sorento HEV will be released at a price of IDR 900 million.

“The price of IDR 900 million was like that last year, when there was an increase of all kinds, it decreased the competition. At the same time, we expected that there would be incentives for hybrids, but it seems still,” he continued.
