Rolls-Royce’s new Ghost, priced at $350,000, is a limited-edition luxury sedan inspired by the world of modern design.

Rolls-Royce has introduced a new limited edition version of the Ghost called Prism, which is said to be “inspired by the world of modern design.” This new special edition is limited to just 120 examples to celebrate 120 years of the British luxury car maker. According to Rolls-Royce, the Ghost Prism “displays flawlessly finished dark tones that are subtly accentuated with bold strokes of color.” The prototype seen in the official photos features a Gunmetal gray exterior with a “rich mineral finish,” which is claimed to be achieved through a ten-step process. Four layers of paint need to be applied, and then the paint is cleaned by hand for 16 hours.

While buyers can choose to have their Ghost Prism finished in any color of their choice, Rolls-Royce offers four accents to choose from, including Phoenix Red, Turchese, Mandarin and Forge Yellow. Accent color is placed on the lower bumper trim, brake calipers, and a painted coach line that runs along the shoulder line of the luxury sedan. Additionally, the chrome grille and taillights on the Ghost Prism have been replaced with trim in a smokey finish called Burnout.

Rolls-Royce says each piece of metal has to be prepared by hand and individually polished to perfection. There isn’t much information about the interior, except for the accent color, which is carried inside the cabin and appears alongside the Starlight’s 1040 color star head.

“Ghost Prism is an extension of the personal aesthetic of the special unit from this group of tastemakers. The vehicle’s design using dark, neutral tones and subtle color impulses, places it firmly within the modern luxury landscape. Customers ours are experts and connoisseurs who know exactly what they want; Ghost Prism celebrates the unique relationship we have,” said the brand’s design director, Anders Warming.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost is mechanically identical to the regular model, which is powered by a 6.75-liter turbocharged V12 engine that is capable of producing 563 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. The uber-luxury sedan can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds despite weighing 2.5 tons. The UK automaker hasn’t revealed pricing, but we expect it to be higher than the Ghost’s starting price of $354,750.
