Professional Wrestler Jay Briscoe Killed, Truck Smashes Chevrolet Silverado 2500 He Was Driving

PRIVATE AREA – Jamin Pugh, 38, known by the stage name of wrestling “Jay Briscoe,” has died after being involved in a car accident in Laurel, Del., Delaware State Police announced Wednesday.

Police said Pugh was driving an Eastbound Chevrolet Silverado 2500 around 5 p.m. EST Tuesday in Laurel when a Chevrolet Silverado 1500, westbound, crossed the center line and collided with Pugh’s truck.

Authorities said Lillyanne Terahan, 27, was the driver of the other truck and also died at the scene. Pugh’s 12-year-old daughter and 9-year-old daughter, who were also in his truck, were taken to a local hospital and were treated in critical condition.

Pugh’s wife, Ashley Pugh, gave an update on her daughter Wednesday morning on Facebook, wrote, Jan. 18, 2023.

“We need prayers! Gracie is having back surgery,” wrote Ashley Pugh.

“Jamin wants the whole world to pray for his little daughter. We believe in the power of prayer! Pray for the doctors and everyone who cares for her! Pray for her precious legs to move again!

“Praying for Jayleigh, who is badly injured, but is strong and resting! Praying for Gannon who is waiting at home! Praying for all of our strength! We have a long way to go!”
