AC Cars has chosen London and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to hold the global launch of the new AC Cobra GT Roadster, with confirmed buyers and customers invited to the private event.
The stylish new AC Cobra GT Roadster has been built from the ground up and shares no components from the original design. However, it is instantly recognisable, with the high-performance road planner bringing back to the market one of the most popular names in the automotive industry.
Britain’s oldest car manufacturer – which has been in business since 1901 – says the car is a modern sports car, made with the latest technology and engineering processes, but remaining true to the spirit of the original AC Cobra from. the decade of the 1960s.
It is powered by a Ford V8 (Coyote) petrol engine, offered in two versions. Naturally aspirated produces 460 horses and 570 Nm of torque, while the compressor produces 663 horses and 780 Nm of torque. Regardless of the version, the engine is combined with a 6-speed manual box, or a 10-speed automatic, and the drive is sent to the rear axle.
The AC Cobra GT Roadster uses an advanced aluminum chassis, designed specifically for the car. The new chassis has a wheelbase of 2,570 mm. ie 284 mm. larger than the AC Cobra Mk. VI, however the overall length of the vehicle is only 110 mm longer. reach 4,225 mm.
The body of the car is made of carbon, its weight does not exceed 1,450 kg, and 0-100 km / h the most powerful version is able to do it in 3.6 seconds. Aimed at everyday use and comfort, the car features a removable hardtop, electric windows, air conditioning, and an infotainment system.

Orders for the new AC Cobra GT are already open, following the release of its first details in December 2022, with deliveries starting in 2024. It will be produced in limited numbers, with no exact number known.
The new AC Cobra GT Roadster is expected to cost from £285,000 (€322,000) including VAT in the UK, with prices varying depending on exchange rates and taxes in the country of delivery.
