Ford presented the new F-150 that gets changes both inside and out. The body of the F-150 is made of “military-grade” aluminum alloy and features new LED headlights, a new hood, new bumpers, new fenders, new wheels, and a front grille offered in 11 configurations.
The Blue Oval says the F-150 is more aerodynamic than ever, with a lively grille that features opening and closing features. Inside there is an 8″ or 12.3″ digital instrument panel, but also a new 8″ or 12″ infotainment touchscreen. There is a new steering wheel, a new automatic transmission selector, new air ducts and the layout of the climate system switches is different. It also has more comfortable seats, and the central console between the front seats can form a “desk”.
There are two Bang & Olufsen audio systems, one with 8 speakers and one with 18 speakers, with a SYNC 4 infotainment system that supports over-the-air upgrades and is compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SYNC AppLink, Waze and Ford+ Alexa.
In terms of safety and driver assistance systems, the new F-150 has Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0 which includes Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Detection, a reversing camera with dynamic assist, automatic high beam activation and Active Drive. Help.
It also has a generator that produces 2 to 7.2 kW. The back door has a built-in ruler, cell phone holder, pencil pockets and bottle/glass pocket.
The new F-150 will be offered with 4 gasoline engines. And the 290-hp 3.3-liter V6, 325-hp 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, 375-hp 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, and 395-hp 5.0-liter V8 horses.
Also for the first time in its history, a hybrid version called PowerBoost will be available that combines a 3.5-liter V6 engine with a 47-horsepower electric motor. Combined, it delivers at least 420 horses. Also available is a 250hp 3.0-liter PowerStroke V6 diesel engine. . In 2021, the Raptor version will be presented.
