This coveted flagship Ferraris could fetch over $20 million at auction.
Assuming money is no object, RM Sotheby’s upcoming “Dare to Dream Collection” auction offers the opportunity to start a Ferrari collection by acquiring five of the most prestigious Horses ever made.
Among the featured lots are the Ferrari “Big 5″-LaFerrari, Enzo, F50, F40 and 288 GTO. Also known as the “Hyper 5,” this coveted quintet represents the automotive prowess of the Maranello marque in its respective automotive era.

With production reaching a record high of 272 examples, the twin V8-powered race car for the road was praised in the August 1984 issue of Road & Track: “The continuation of the GTO’s (288) power flow and incredible handling is superb. as well. or better than anything I’ve ever seen…The car’s road holding is incredible and it’s increasing rapidly.”
The example on offer at RM Sotheby’s, valued at between $3.8 and $4 million, has driven 26,617 miles and benefited from 26 years of single ownership before changing hands twice in the 2010s.
