ROME (ITALPRESS) – Nissan Italia announces organizational changes. At the end of a valuable experience of more than two years in the Marketing Division of Nissan’s European headquarters, where he held the position of Qashqai product manager for the entire Amieo Region, Gabriele Piccini is promoted to Marketing Director of Nissan Italy. In the new role – located in the offices of Nissan Italia in Capena (Rome) – Gabriele Piccini reports directly to Marco Toro, president and CEO of Nissan Italia, and in practice to Arnaud Charpentier, vice president of Regional Marketing & Mobility. Gabriele Piccini replaces Sandro Sarlo, who continues his career at Nissan Italia and takes the position of Sales Director, thanks to the experience gained within the same Management as Sales Performance Manager and head of the Distribution and Sales Planning Department. In the new role, Sandro Sarlo continues to report directly to Marco Toro and functionally to Antonio Melica, manager of Nissan Italy who is currently posted to Paris as Deputy Vice President of Sales Europe.
Sandro Sarlo replaces Vincenzo Varriale, who continues his career at Nissan Italia as director of Network Development and Quality, thus continuing the experience gained within the same management as Manager of the Network Development department. In the new role, Vincenzo Varriale continues to report directly to Marco Toro and functionally to Jean Philippe Roux, Amieo CQ&DND Regional Vice President.
Vincenzo Varriale replaces Achille Nicastri, who, after 31 years at Nissan Italia – of which the last 14 as a member of the Management Committee – where he held various positions including senior positions in Sales, After Sales, Network Development and Quality, on December 31. he will leave the company to face new professional challenges.
