Nika Master’s 1st Swimming Tournament Is Full Of Stars

iMSPORT. TV – The main swimming competition called 1st Nika Master Swimming Championship 2023 was attended by hundreds of young and old swimmers which was held at Nika Swimming Pool of 25 meters, Bintaro, Sunday, May 28 2023.

Skilled swimming is a swimming competition that is participated in from the age of 18 and above. Nika’s 25-meter swimming pool has semi-indoor features and a roof, and also has five lanes and a depth of 3 meters.

“PB PRSI under the management of Anindya Bakrie is very much engaged in spreading good swimming. It is expected that with the 1st NIKA Masters Swimming in the 25m pool, the number of top swimmers will increase,” say Deputy Head of PB PRSI, Harlin E. Rahardjo.

“Nika Pool can be an example for regions to build 25-meter pools in different regions to be part of mass training and teach swimming sports,” he continued

The swimming event was attended by 150 participants and the oldest swimmers, Kartini Sapardjiman and Rahardjo who were 83 years old.

The Chairman of the Committee, Rara Nastiti explained that there were 10 people over 80 years old.

“This is a record in itself, many swimmers over 80 years old. This means that this event will be interesting, because the pool is 25 meters long so there are many lovers. The competition will start from 08.00-17.00 WIB,” Lara explained

Besides being filled with swimmers over the age of 80, the event was also graced by several medal winners of the SEA Games 2023 in Cambodia. The names being talked about are Siman Sudartawa (50m gold medalist for men), Angel Gabriel Yus and many others.

“We invite all SEA Games medalists like Siman Sudartawa, Joe Aditya, Erick Ahmad Fathoni, Angel Gabriel Yus, Dwiki Rahajo, and others to perform,” Harlin E. Rahardjo said

Men’s water sports coach, Nikola Milosavlejic, Chairman of the Advisory Board of PB PRSI Sandiaga Uno who is also the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy and Chairman of PB PRSI, Anindya Bakrie are also planning to participate in the competition.

It is hoped that the 1st Nika Masters Swimming event will increase and raise the popularity of swimming and other water sports.

In the 1st Nika Master Swimming Championships in the 25 meter pool there were 14 numbers that competed.
