With the car market in constant evolution, three brands are emerging in the competition popular new cars in Brazil: Renault, Fiat and Citroën. The Renault Kwid, Fiat Mobi and Citroen C3 appear to be the best and most accessible, offering a balance between performance, utility, price and, therefore, economy.

In collaboration with the Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia, Folha carried out extensive tests to evaluate the performance and use of these vehicles, using modern equipment.
Renault Kwid
Renault Kwid is considered to be the most economical car in the city and on the highway. It stands out for its fuel efficiency. With an average of 23.1 km/l on the highway when fueled by petrol, the Kwid offers great value for money.
It is available in the Zen version, its starting price is BRL 69 thousand, but Renault has been running promotions that make it more available, at a price close to BRL 63 thousand. In addition, the Kwid has a modern and compact design, ideal for urban traffic.
Fiat Mobi
Convenience and performance Fiat Mobi is known for its simple and familiar mechanics, with a 1.0 four-cylinder engine.
Although more compact in terms of interior space, the Mobi offers standard essentials, such as power-assisted steering, air conditioning, audio system and electric operation of the front windows and door locks.
Its starting price is R$72,300, making it a competitive option in the popular new car market.

Citroen C3
The Citroen C3 is also an option that combines an attractive design with seating comfort. With a modern look and unique personality, the C3 stands out from the competition.
Its spacious and well-organized interior provides comfort to the passengers. The starting price of the Citroen C3 starts at R$70,000, making it an attractive choice for those looking for style and comfort in a popular car.
