One of the main performance indicators in cars is the time from 0 to 100 km/h. But what if this feature is, in fact, a major weakness of the model? Therefore, we have collected the ten biggest collars on wheels: the 10 slowest cars sold in Brazil in 2022.
The data was calculated by our partners at the bird and were officially released by car manufacturers. And the results are truly amazing.
1. Ford Ranger 2.2 and Renault Stepway 1.0 – 15 seconds
What does an average pickup truck with a turbo diesel engine have to do with a 1.0 flex hatchback? At the same time infinite from 0 to 100 km / h. The 2.2-engined versions of the Ford Ranger and the Renault Stepway 1.0 take an eternal 15 seconds to reach a similar speed, even with different power and torque levels.
2. Fiat Mobi Trekking – 14.9 seconds
The only hatch with a 1.0-liter four-cylinder engine in Brazil, the Fiat Mobi takes a long 14.9 seconds to reach 100 km/h in the adventurous Trekking version. Among all Stellantis cars with a 1.0 Firefly three-cylinder engine with 75 hp and 10.7 kgfm of torque, the Citroën C3 is the slowest. Blame its less aerodynamic shape than the box or gearshift, but it’s 0.7 seconds slower than the Fiat Argo and Peugeot 208 with exactly the same engine.

The cheapest car in Brazil next to Renault Kwid, Fiat Mobi Like is also one of the slowest cars in the country.
