Three out of the four upcoming LEGO Technic kits for 2023 have officially been added to the online store, revealing their prices, release dates, and other details.
With the advent of the new year, LEGO Group has unveiled several forthcoming models on its US online store, including three out of the four confirmed models for LEGO Technic construction set to be released later this year.
These sets are comprised of 42153 NASCAR Next Generation Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, 42154 Ford GT 2022, and 42155 Batman – Batcycle. As of the time of writing, 42152 Firefighting Airplane from our previous report is still unavailable but may be added soon in time for launch.
For now, here is a more detailed look at all three LEGO Technic sets slated for release in March. Pricing outside of the US is yet to be determined.
42153 NASCAR Next Generation Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Price: $49.99 Pieces: 1,134 Release date: March 1, 2023
As the first manifestation of the LEGO Group’s partnership with NASCAR, which led to a LEGO for grown-ups, the 42153 NASCAR Next Generation Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is a medium-sized car with a functional steering wheel, an opening hood, and a V8 engine with moving pistons.
42154 Ford GT 2022 Price: $119.99 Pieces: 1,466 Release date: March 1, 2023
As the first LEGO Technic model for 2023 geared toward ages 18 and up, 42154 Ford GT 2022 features rear-wheel drive with a differential, a working V6 engine, all-wheel suspension, front axle steering, opening doors, headlight detailing, a working spoiler, and an open sliding hood. Its preferred age range also suggests a more complex or entirely different structure from the other sets for 2023.
42155 Batman – Batcycle Price: $49.99 Pieces: 641 Release date: March 1, 2023
Following the debut of 42127 Batman – Batmobile at the start of 2022, another LEGO Technic set laying the foundation for Batman is almost here, and it is also the first DC game for 2023. Its smaller size also makes it more affordable than the 2022 version.
