Jaguar Land Rover has announced that luxury car company Jaguar plans to produce fully electric cars by 2025.

Jaguar Land Rover has launched its new global strategy, with the company aiming to become carbon neutral by 2039.

In the statement, it was said that Jaguar is set to become an electric luxury car brand by 2025.

Indicating that all Jaguar Land Rover vehicles are expected to be fully electric by 2030, it was revealed that it aims to produce 6 fully electric Land Rover models in the next 5 years, and deliver the first Land Rover electric model in 2024.

The statement said the company plans to invest around 2.5 billion pounds (about 3.5 billion dollars) per year in electricity distribution technology and related services.

Bentley Motors, one of the luxury car brands, also announced in November last year that it will switch to electric models by 2030.

American car manufacturer General Motors (GM), on the other hand, announced last month that it plans to end the production of gasoline and diesel cars by 2035 and produce only electric cars.
