The beginning of 2023 is a good start for Tesla. Yes, this brand owned by Elon Musk recorded sales figures that were classified as incredible in the first quarter of this year. No half-heartedness, in the first 3 months of this year alone, they managed to sell up to 420,000 units worldwide.
Reported by CNN, on Monday (3/4/2023), Tesla’s detailed sales figures reached 422,875 units. Compared to the same period last year, this figure has increased by 36% compared to 2022.
Several factors are said to affect the increase in sales of their cars. Among them is the presence of 2 new Gigafactory factories in Texas, USA and Germany which indirectly increases the production of their cars.
One of Tesla’s chief executives, Tom Zhu, said that their 2 models, Model S and Model X, have experienced a significant increase in sales. “In several regions, such as Europe, the Middle East and Africa, our 2 vehicles, which are Mode S and Model X, have experienced a significant increase in sales.
He also said that Tesla’s recent price adjustments also affected the increase in sales. “We made a price adjustment that is acceptable to all groups, so that we can get sales figures that we think exceed our expectations,” added Zhu.
Although on the one hand it has a very positive effect, in fact Tesla also continues to make the right price adjustments. Additionally, they should maintain a figure of the amount of profit that is made according to a certain target number. [edo/timBX]
