• Genesis Makes Donations $100,000 each for First Tee, Girls on the Run, and American Soccer Foundation

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif., February 19, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — As part of its corporate social responsibility program, Genesis Provides, Genesis Motor America has been released $100,000 each for First Tee, Girls on the Run, and American Soccer Foundation in total $300,000 at this year’s Commencement Invitational Pacific Palisades, Calif. This is the third year Genesis has provided funding to these three organizations, starting with the launch of the book Genesis Gives in the 2022 Genesis Invitational.

The organizations below each received donations of $100,000:

  • First tee: First Tee empowers youth from all backgrounds to develop the leadership, confidence, and resilience needed to succeed and overcome adversity. By combining life skills training with a values-based curriculum and the game of golf, First Tee helps children realize their potential and achieve their goals. This year’s donation will support First Tee’s efforts to make its golf and life skills curriculum more accessible to children and families. So far, Genesis has contributed the total $300,000 to the First Tee.
  • Running girls: Girls on the Run empowers girls in grades 3-8 through an evidence-based curriculum that combines active, interactive learning and running games. The program unlocks confidence and happiness in girls while teaching life skills and instilling an appreciation for healthy living and fitness at an early age. This year’s donation will support the reach and accessibility of the program, including continued support of the Girls on the Run council network, marketing to drive national participation, and the development of curriculum, resources and tools to promote the organization’s mission. So far, Genesis has contributed the total $250,000 for Running Girls.
  • American Soccer Foundation: The United States The Soccer Foundation’s mission is to provide underserved communities with access to innovative playing spaces and evidence-based soccer programs that instill hope, promote well-being, and help youth reach their full potential. This year’s donation will help American Soccer Foundation a small initiative with the goal of installing 1,000 small plots in underserved communities by 2026. To date, Genesis has made a total contribution. $250,000 for American Soccer Foundation.
