Jeep surprised consumers by launching a new entry-level version of the Jeep Renegade with a price cut of R$9,000. Now, it is possible to buy “Renegade 1.3 Turbo” for R $ 125,990.
To achieve this low value, the company omitted certain details, such as the cabin filter, the trunk lid and the cabin cleaning system. In addition, the Renegade 1.3 Turbo does not come with front and rear floor mats, roof rack and sun visor and glove box light.
The warranty is also limited to just one year, but customers will be able to choose to replace the device later if they want. With this change, Jeep hopes to regain its sales leadership position with the Renegade.
Peugeot and Citroën, brands of the Stellantis group, are also offering special offers on some of their models during the month of May.
Peugeot reduced the price of the 208 Like 1.0 to R$69,990, only R$1,000 more expensive than the Fiat Mobi and Renault Kwid, currently the cheapest cars in Brazil.
This discount represents a savings of R$10,000 compared to the list price of R$79,990. In addition, customers can add an optional package, which includes a multimedia center, LED daytime running lights, steering wheel and audio control and electric mirrors, for a value of less than R $ 3 thousand.
Peugeot also offers payment options with low payments and installments of up to 72 installments, or zero payments within 24 months. This offer is available until the end of May.
Citroen, for its part, offers special financing terms for its models, with payments starting at R$999, with a down payment of 40%, for a period of 72 months.
The C3, for example, was priced down to R$69,990 at some dealerships, making it an affordable option for consumers looking for a new car.
In addition to these brands, Hyundai also introduced price cuts, announcing discounts on its popular HB20 model.
The Comfort 1.0 turbo version with automatic transmission is sold at the price of the manual version, that is, for R$ 96,490 instead of the R$ 104,590 shown in the table.
