Ford announced the start of sales of the new Maverick Hybrid, the first hybrid image to enter the Brazilian market. The new model arrives at dealerships at the same price as its Lariat combustion version, which costs R$ 244,890.00. According to the car manufacturer, the new version has a range of more than 800 km / h and has an average consumption of 14.6 km / l combining combustion and electric engines.

The Maverick Hybrid combines two engines

The new Maverick has an electric motor and a 2.5 liter combustion engine. The combined power is 194 horses and the pickup goes from 0 to 100 km / h in 8.7 seconds. Consumption leaves nothing to be desired with an average of 15.7 km / l in the city and 13.6 km / l on the highway. The car also has five driving modes: Normal, Tow, Slippery, Eco and Sport.

For safety, seven airbags are available. with occupant detection, pedestrian and bicycle brake assist, electronic stability and traction control, LED headlights with automatic high beam, reversing camera, post-collision brake assist and pressure monitoring of the tire. Regenerative braking also has ramp start assist.

The Maverick Hybrid has a length of 5.11 m, a height of 1.73 m and a wheelbase of 3.07 m. Its bucket is 1.34 m long and has a capacity of 659 kg and 943 liters. It is covered with durable materials and has smart compartments on the sides, as well as eight adjustment points and dividing spaces. Available colors are Aurora Red, Delhi Orange, Lyse Blue, Malacara Blue, Dover Grey, Dew Silver, Torres Grey, Asturias Black and Arctic White, as well as the new Atlas Blue.

Inside, the seats have ActiveX advanced coating, eight-way electric adjustment for the driver and six-way manual for the passenger, leather-wrapped steering wheel with height and depth adjustment, rotary gear selector, dual air conditioning and brakes. parking.

The connectivity section has a 6.5-inch digital screen, SYNC multimedia with 8-inch screen and access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, key with presence sensor and start button, door opening with keyboard and alarm with immobilizer.
