Mercedes-Benz is already developing the first E-Class for 2023. A completely new generation, lighter and more powerful, but also larger and with an extremely sporty and avant-garde style, is what we expect in this first recreation.
Mercedes-Benz is developing a new version of the E-Class. The star brand is already hard at work on the W214 model, which is scheduled to launch in 2023 with a saloon body and, approximately six months later, the familiar E-Class Estate. A model that is once again accountable for delivering cutting-edge technology, despite the fact that the S-Class set the bar extremely high.
And it is that, in less than a year and a half, a new version of the BMW 5 Series will also arrive, months apart, as both models are scheduled for release in 2023. The 2016 Mercedes-Benz E-Class received a significant update in 2020, a restyling that fully altered the model’s physiognomy. As expected in this first recreation, the latest W214 will develop the design line.

Mercedes-upcoming Benz’s E-Class 2023 will once again be a concept and technological benchmark.
This was the first time since the late 1990s that the same model had adopted the most modern and sporty design language introduced in the CLS and A-Class. Mercedes thus matched the entire range.
Gorden Wagener’s stylists will keep the new headlights horizontally arranged and rather wedge-shaped, but they will be smaller and flatter while remaining longer. Additionally, the front end will be raised and the hood will be more horizontal, while the radiator grille’s outline will be softened further. The latest E-Class will retain its inherent elegance but will appear more sporty from the front and rear, as the side glass surface retains its characteristic arc form.
The E-Class 2023 will also see major improvements on the inside. The German automaker will offer a cleaner dashboard design with larger digital displays and will inherit the sophisticated “MBUX Hyperscreen” system, one of the most luxurious and advanced options available, in addition to having the latest level 3 autonomous driving technology, which uses more precise operation enabled by LIDAR sensors to allow you to delegate driving to your own vehicle.
The new E-Class will feature the same modern four-cylinder turbo engines introduced in the C-Class, along with new ISG 400-Volt gasoline starters and a new diesel engine, although it will also feature six-cylinder in-line engines. Additionally, they will dethrone the V8 versions of the sportier versions with the latest “AMG E Performance” technology. Additionally, the model will include plug-in hybrids equipped with batteries capable of providing a range of more than a hundred kilometers.
Following the unveiling of a substantial restyling last year, the Mercedes E-Class W213 generation is already in the second half of its life cycle. As a result, Mercedes has chosen to begin work on the creation of its replacement, the E-Class W214, which is expected to be released in two years. Meanwhile, the reconstruction that depicts these lines gives us a glimpse of what the new Mercedes E-Class 2023 would look like.
