George Mtimba
Director & Co-founder of Tracednews.com

As an internet enthusiast, I began creating websites as a hobby until I met my friends and together we founded a web design and development agency. A few months later, we launched a car portal, which evolved into Tracednews.com, which has grown to become a benchmarking portal for motor news, information, reviews, and buying guides.

Editor in chief

I enjoy driving. I enjoy education. Musician, audiovisual, and illustration enthusiast. I believe in people and teamwork: the dictionary is the only place where success comes before work.

I consider myself fortunate. I have the opportunity to inform you about the current state of the automotive industry, the brands’ future plans, and the feelings I have when I first meet a car or when I get on it and test it. I have witnessed Tracednews being born, growing, and strengthening day after day, despite the fact that my journey is far from over. Are you going to join me?

I’ve always been enthralled by the automobile world. I enjoy driving any “junk” vehicle (new or old) on four wheels. Although I am a computer scientist by trade, I have spent many years professionally covering the automotive industry and testing the latest market developments. My greatest passions are driving, automobile testing, photography, and tattoos.

Although I was already a part of the Motor.es family, I became a permanent member of the editorial team of this digital medium in February 2016, where I collaborate daily and devote all my passion to learning new things. I currently drive a Peugeot 208, though I have not abandoned the fantasy of once again having a MINI Cooper in my garage.

Writing, events, and tests

I enjoy driving anything with four wheels and spend my days conversing about automobiles and the customs that have brought me here. I am in love with the car culture that has been directing automobiles down the street since I was a child, and I admit that I enjoy them all.

After a few years of collecting letters for the Tracednews.com family and watching this portal grow and mature into one of the best, I continue to learn something new about this fascinating world every day.

The racing world rarely has a middle ground: either its complexity totally consumes you or it causes you to look the other way. The first thing happened to me nearly two decades ago, and since then, I have continued to live the competition with all my heart, but without abandoning my knowledge of such a complicated and extensive sport.

Motorsport writer

Passionate about the motorsports environment, particularly when there is an element of competition involved. I began by following Formula 1 and soon gained an appreciation for the nature of various other types, to the point of embracing them. After a series of ventures and media appearances, you will find me in the motorsport section of Motor.es, where I confess to having a minor weakness for the WRC. You are aware that the parking brake has the power to turn a corner into a piece of art.

Infatuated with technology in all of its manifestations. This world has taught me that there are no obstacles and that all that is needed to achieve something is passion and effort. I enjoy capturing everything that surrounds me with a moving picture, and the more motorized the better!

Charles Ezekiel
Expert in-car technology

I love vehicles, but I enjoy driving even more. My goal is to express how each model actually feels behind the wheel, as its features and characteristics are already described in a cold technical document.

Stephen Patrick
Writing and illustration

Since he was a child, he has been a car enthusiast. As a student of automobile design, I collect books and visit automobile museums and exhibitions. I’ve spent my entire career designing and developing industrial products and processes, both in the automotive and non-automotive sectors, having previously worked as an editor for other automotive websites and most recently founding jaagDESIGN.

However, if there is one thing I am passionate about, it is drawing and imagining cars, spending the majority of my free time with my pencils. As a proponent of functional and honest design, I’ve always admired automobiles that don’t pretend to be something they’re not.

James Simon
Web development

Graduated from the University of London with a degree in computer engineering and a master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Seville.

Since I was a kid, I’ve been intrigued by the world of four wheels, always wishing for the weekend so that I could visit the newsstand and pick up the latest issue of the magazine, which would include the latest news and updates about new models on the market.

I’m passionate about mechanics and spend my free time learning new concepts about the most engineering-intensive aspects of a car: variable geometries, torque converters, double clutches, self-locking, and McPherson struts.

If I had to pick a car that best suits me, what would it be? Without a question, BMW M4.

I also consider myself to be passionate about technology and computing in general, which is why I knew without a doubt that I wanted to direct my professional training from the start. My predilections in this regard are Software Engineering, Big Data, and Business Intelligence.
