Technology.id, Jakarta – Esports developer Kohai Infiniti announced a strategic partnership with Moonton Indonesia, in the MDL tournament. This collaboration with the game publisher Mobile Legends: Bang Bang aims to change the way esports is played in Indonesia using an innovative platform.

The platform will help players connect, build communities, and compete at regional to international levels as well as participate in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League (MDL) Mobile Gaming Tournament.

Through the Kohai Infiniti program, players of various skill levels can progress from beginners to professionals. This app is not only aimed at competitive and professional players, but casual players can also join and compete in the Kohai Infiniti Combat Arena.

Don Putu Hariswara, Country Director of Kohai Infiniti explained that this partnership allows players to connect and compete with players in Malaysia, with the main vision to grow in the South-East Asia (SEA) region.

The Kohai Infiniti app offers various interesting features to the players. One notable feature is the Combat Arena, where users can participate and compete in weekly Leaderboards. The best teams will get a chance to compete in the Kohai Infiniti Combat Arena Invitational (KCAI), against Kohai players in Malaysia.

Azwin Nugraha, Marketing Communications Manager of Moonton Indonesia hopes that this partnership can bring a new color and be one of the help in developing the esports system in Indonesia. One way is by holding the Kohai Infiniti Championship and the MDL Indonesia Open Championship.

After Malaysia, Kohai Infiniti plans to expand its reach to places like the Philippines, Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam.
