TIMOR TENGAH SELATAN, iNewsBelu.id – Volunteers of the Ganjar Millennium Center (GMC) of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) distributed water storage equipment for Noemeto Village, Kota Soe District, Timor Province. Central South. Support in the form of three reservoirs of clean water in the form of fiber measuring 500 liters. The support aims to increase the availability and access to clean water for the community.
“We also want to prevent contamination and pollution of stored water by providing a safe and closed storage area,” said NTT Regional Coordinator GMC Nasrin in a press release, Thursday (25/5/2023). Nasrin hopes that the aid can be used as effectively as possible by the local villagers.
“I hope it will be beneficial to the community for the benefit of all. We thank the ladies and gentlemen who have accepted us and met us,” he said.
In addition to providing water reservoirs, GMC NTT volunteers also handed out t-shirts, calendars, stickers and key chains to the local community. This was done as an effort to unite and introduce the face of Ganjar Pranowo. GMC Chairman of South Timor, Julius Tamonob hopes that his association can continue to provide benefits to the community.
In this activity, they listened to the stories of residents who were experiencing water problems due to some aid from the village government being damaged. Because of that, people find it difficult to collect water. “There are actually plans and requests for the future from the local community in Noemuke Village so that the GMC will contribute to help,” he said.
Noemeto village chief Samgar Kian is very grateful to NTT GMC and the GMC teams of South Central Timor who are ready to take care of them.
