Now, DPUPR of Tangerang City has completed handling the two areas, Thursday (16/3/23).
Head of DPUPR, Tangerang City, Ruta Ireng Wicaksono, revealed that the embankment in the broken canal in Garden City was two meters long and 60 centimeters long. This action was immediately handled using hundreds of kisdam and was completed at 11.00 WIB.
“Regarding Villa Mutiara Pluit, it broke 10 meters in length and one meter in height. The damage was also treated using hundreds of kisdam and was completed at 18.30 WIB,” Ruta said when contacted.
He also said, in terms of traffic, the two areas have returned to passing, or back to normal. In the area of Villa Mutiara Pluit, displaced residents have also returned to their homes and joint officers have moved to assist in the process of cleaning up the environment due to flood debris.
“Closing the kisdam is a temporary measure, to prevent water flooding in community housing. Furthermore, DPUPR will prepare a rehabilitation plan through maintenance measures,” Ruta explained.
