Bettor has won more than $100,000 thanks to the return of Hideki Matsuyama

It’s been a long-scoring season on the PGA Tour, with the first six tournament winners earning tickets at 100-1 or better pre-tournament odds.

Hideki Matsuyama (75-1) didn’t have long pre-tournament odds before winning the Genesis Invitational on Sunday, but he was as high as 200-1 at FanDuel Sportsbook to win before the final round. In the final round, he shot a 9-under 62 to win by three shots over Luke List. It was the lowest scoring round ever by a winning golfer at Rivieraaccording to ESPN.

In the betting world, Matsuyama’s incredible last round won one bettor at DraftKings Sportsbook more than $100,000. Investor – Adam Greer — had a $1,350 bet on Matsuyama at odds of 75-1 before the tournament to win the Start Invitational. Matsuyama’s return meant a $102,600 payday for Greer.

The bet was confirmed by DraftKings.
