Polestar 4, which attracts attention with its lack of a rear window, will also be able to attract attention with its design elements. The new design, which features a two-part headlight cluster, reflects the brand’s identity. At the back, we can say that the taillights that extend from one end to the other and the embedded design are very strange.

Riding on Geely’s SEA architecture, the Polestar 4 promises a spacious interior with its 2,999-millimeter wheelbase. The car’s glass roof, which stretches from one end to the other, seems to match the absence of a rear window. . Therefore, fresh air is taken into the interior.

The interior of the car, which is completely minimalistic, is dominated by a 15.4-inch infotainment system screen. A 10.2-inch digital instrument panel is offered, and a 14.7-inch head-up display has also taken its place. It is possible to say that the interior of the car, which has a small number of keys, is quite innovative.

If we continue with the technical details of the car; We are faced with two different power options. Home to an electric motor that can produce 275 horsepower and 343 Nm of torque at the entry level, the car sends its power to the rear wheels. The range of this version was announced as 600 km.

The two-electric version accommodates larger vehicles

For those who want more power, a double electric motor version is available. Powered by two electric motors mounted on the front and rear axle, the car has a total of 550 horsepower and 586 Nm of torque. This powerful model completes the 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.8 seconds. The range of this version, which offers all-wheel drive thanks to its two engines, was announced as 560 kilometers.

Volvo, which has been emphasizing on safety systems, continues this claim in the Polestar as well. The new model is equipped as standard with 12 cameras, 1 radar and 12 ultrasonic sensors. In the list of options, there are many features, including an assistant to change the direct path.

The Polestar 4, which will be manufactured at Geely’s factory in Hangzhou Bay, China, will go on sale in the country in November 2023. It will take 2024 for the new electric model to reach Europe and other markets. With its performance and different design features, Polestar 4 seems to bring a big movement to the electric SUV class.
