366 Hyundai Kona diesels are being recalled

The General Secretariat of Industry in collaboration with Hyundai Hellas SA, the main agent and importer of Hyundai cars in Greece is recalling 366 Kona OS Diesel cars, with a production date from January 2019 to June 2022.

Affected vehicles may experience malfunctions in the brake assist system due to a malfunction in the vacuum pump. Therefore, it is considered correct and important to check and, if necessary, replace the vacuum pump.

So far in Greece, no case of an accident related to this particular problem has been reported. All owners will be notified by registered mail to attend any authorized Hyundai workshop of their choice to have the vacuum pump filter checked and/or the vacuum pump replaced if necessary, free of charge.
