Jeep has revealed new details and photos of its upcoming electric vehicle, which it calls the Wagoneer S. Built on STLA’s massive Stellantis platform, the Wagoneer S will make its US debut later this year before making its debut. way to the main market around the world.

According to the automaker, the SUV will have a 4xe powertrain with all-terrain power and 600 hp, the latter allowing a 0-96 km/h (0-60 mph) time of just 3.5 seconds. Other details of the all-wheel drive configuration, including battery power capacity and range are currently being withheld.

Design-wise, the Wagoneer S looks more futuristic than the petrol-powered Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer. Despite the sharper lines and more aerodynamic profile, Jeep’s electric vehicle (EV) follows tradition by maintaining the brand’s signature seven-seater, despite being reimagined with LED lighting.

Inside, you’ll find a layout that’s not unlike the regular Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, with no less than three displays mounted on the dashboard. These include a digital instrument cluster, an infotainment touchscreen and another touchscreen for the front passenger.

You’ll also find a light strip under the display that divides the upper and lower parts of the interior, and a fourth display in the climate system. The center console appears to be unique to the Wagoneer S, as are the gears and Selec-Terrain controls. Jeep says the Wagoneer S will come standard with a dual sunroof and a 19-speaker sound system from McIntosh.
