140 Nissan Juke Hybrids with a production date from 6/16/2022 to 12/14/2022 are being recalled in Greece. The reason is that in the affected vehicles, Nissan has identified a possible failure affecting the Hybrid System Control (HEVC) module software, which may in some Juke Hybrid (HF16) vehicles cause a reset of the HEVC module.
In particular, it was found that pressing the gas pedals and braking at the same time can cause HEVC to reset. In this case the engine may hesitate and/or cut off, under certain driving conditions (when the engine is cold, immediately after starting).
So far, no case of accident has been reported in this regard. All owners of affected vehicles will be notified in writing by registered mail to visit their nearest Nissan Authorized Dealer to easily upgrade the HEVC software to the latest, improved software at no cost.
